Who We Are

Hudson Memory Care was founded with one simple mission: to guide and support families navigating the complex journey of memory loss. With nearly 50 years of experience in healthcare, founder Kathy Hudson has dedicated her career to serving older adults and their families with compassion, education, and practical support. Beginning her career in 1977 in Cape Coral, Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Kathy has spent decades working closely with seniors in long-term care, memory care, and community settings.

Throughout her career, Kathy recognized that families often feel overwhelmed when a loved one begins experiencing dementia or cognitive decline. Hudson Memory Care was created to provide clear guidance, trusted resources, and compassionate support during these difficult transitions.

Kathy is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and holds additional professional certifications including C.O.R.E. Certification and ServSafe Food Manager Certification. Her extensive experience includes leading community education seminars, aging-in-place workshops, and “Ask the Experts” events designed to help families understand dementia and access the support they need.
